Sunday Jun 09, 2019
Sunday Jun 09, 2019
Welcome to the 4th sermon in our series on the Psalms of Ascent (4 of 16).
“The essential thing ‘in heaven and earth’ is...that there should be long obedience in the same direction; there thereby results, and has always resulted in the long run, something which has made life worth living.” - Friedrich Nietzsche
We are going to spend this summer in the “Songs of Ascent” (Psalms 120-134). Through these songs, we are going to remember and walk along the Way that leads to salvation. We will remember, walk together, and sing of the greatness of our God. He will guide us; He will commune with us; He will refine us; He will call us to repentance and trust...and we will follow...the long path of obedience.
“Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way...”

The Work of God (Three in One)
Sunday May 12, 2019
Sunday May 12, 2019
Welcome to the 3rd sermon in our series on the Trinity. (3 of 3)
What do you know about the Trinity? That God is one substance in three, distinct persons? Is it confusing? Does it seem like an academic afterthought that really has no bearing on your “real” spiritual life? Have you even thought much about it?
We’re going to spend 3 weeks looking at the Triune God of Scripture - God the Father, God the Son and God the Spirit. It is critical to our understanding of God, our delight in God and our growth in faith and trust in God. It might be both, more confusing & mysterious AND more hopeful & joyful than you ever imagined!

Welcome to the 22nd sermon in our series on 1 & 2 Corinthians. (22 of 22)
The city of Corinth was a city of wealth, a city of indulgence, a city of politics and a city of wild pagan rituals. Several New Testament evangelists came to Corinth to tell the people about Jesus and many lives were changed! However, like all of us, the changes took time. The old habits and practices were slow to die and the seeds of new life grew slowly. So Paul wrote these letters to rebuke but encourage these very young followers of Jesus as they transformed from sinners to saints.
