Welcome to the 10th sermon in our series on the story of Deuteronomy. (10 of 12)
If we don’t read and understand the Hebrew Scriptures, we won’t understand the fullness of God’s story. We miss out on His work and activity in history and all that Christ accomplished. The story of Deuteronomy is the story of a God who continues to show mercy and grace to a people who continue to show their desperate need for it. A God who enters into a relationship with a people who could never live up to their end of the bargain. On the brink of the Promised Land, Moses recalls the story of this Covenant between God and His people.

Welcome to the 1st sermon in our series on The Apostles Creed. (1 of 13)
Every week, as a church, we recite the Apostle's Creed. Creeds have been a part of church history from the very beginning. Some even being recited within Scripture itself! However there have also been some hesitancy about the use of a creed that it is "not Scripture" or that we need "no creed by Christ."
Much of this might be chalked up to a misunderstanding of what a creed is and its very helpful functions. Michael Bird describes a creed like a suitcase that we can pack our essential beliefs into, but always designed to be unpacked and understood with greater depth.
Over the next several weeks, we are going to walk through this confession of beliefs known as the Apostles' Creed. This has unified followers of Jesus for nearly 2,000 years and across nearly every cultural line. What are we confessing when we proclaim "Christ is King," and what does it mean when we say "I believe..."

Welcome to the 12th sermon in our series on the book of 1 John. (12 of 13)
The letter of 1 John has long been a treasure for followers of Jesus. The second generation of the church in Ephesus faces many of the same accusations about the person and work of Jesus that the church still faces to this day. John, writing as an older, caring pastor, wants to steady and encourage the faith of God's people not only to trust and worship Jesus as God, but also to follow his example of light and love. John writes this letter so that the church might know that Jesus is Lord!

Welcome to the 14th sermon in our series on the book of Colossians. (14 of 14)
Colossians is a wonderful letter written to a newer church in the city of Colossae. There are a number of different backgrounds that are represented in this young gathering of followers of Jesus that Paul is encouraging and equipping toward faithfulness! There are differing opinions on whether this was Paul's instruction to a very young and new church or if Paul was writing to them after a few years when their former ways of life had started to creep in. Either way, what Paul writes to this church is SO helpful and encouraging for any church to remember what Christ has delivered us from and what He is delivering us toward!
