Welcome to the 7th sermon in our series on The Apostles Creed. (7 of 13)
Every week, as a church, we recite the Apostle's Creed. Creeds have been a part of church history from the very beginning. Some even being recited within Scripture itself! However there have also been some hesitancy about the use of a creed that it is "not Scripture" or that we need "no creed by Christ."
Much of this might be chalked up to a misunderstanding of what a creed is and its very helpful functions. Michael Bird describes a creed like a suitcase that we can pack our essential beliefs into, but always designed to be unpacked and understood with greater depth.
Over the next several weeks, we are going to walk through this confession of beliefs known as the Apostles' Creed. This has unified followers of Jesus for nearly 2,000 years and across nearly every cultural line. What are we confessing when we proclaim "Christ is King," and what does it mean when we say "I believe..."

Welcome to the 21st sermon in our series on the overall story of the Bible. (21 of 23)
The Bible is filled with a whole lot of characters and stories that ultimately tell one big story. We believe the Bible ultimately tells the story of God...and we’re all included! This grand story is the story we tell every week when we gather: God Created the world and it was good and we enjoyed perfect relationship with God. In Genesis 3, however, mankind Rebelled against God and from that, everything fell apart. God made a covenant, made many covenants that He, alone would be faithful to keep. And, through Jesus, He will Redeem His people! One day, God, through Christ, will Restore all things, he will make the world right again. God, one day, will make His glories known as far as the curse has reached. Starting this Sunday, we will look more in depth at this whole story.

Welcome to the 22nd sermon in our series on 1 & 2 Corinthians. (22 of 22)
The city of Corinth was a city of wealth, a city of indulgence, a city of politics and a city of wild pagan rituals. Several New Testament evangelists came to Corinth to tell the people about Jesus and many lives were changed! However, like all of us, the changes took time. The old habits and practices were slow to die and the seeds of new life grew slowly. So Paul wrote these letters to rebuke but encourage these very young followers of Jesus as they transformed from sinners to saints.

Welcome to the 60th sermon in our series on the book of Mark. (60 of 60)
There are many people, not just Christians, who would put Jesus at the top of a list of most influential people in the world. If you were to also make a list of people who have claimed to be God, Jesus would be the only person on both lists. Everyone else who has claimed to be God has been dismissed by history as false. We are going to spend this sermon series looking at how Jesus was presented in the gospel of Mark. Mark is very to the point. He leaves very little doubt as to who Jesus is. Mark presents Jesus as King and then leaves us to deal with that truth.
